Searches for trainers on eBay spike by 365% in the run-up to Notting Hill Carnival. But sneakerheads needed reassurance that what they're buying is the real deal. What if the people performing at Carnival curated the collection themselves?
We launched a sneaker hub ahead of Notting Hill Carnival, curated by musicians and sneakerheads DJ Renaldo La Rose, Nicole Fox, and Tremaine Facey – all performing at NHC. Through interviews and social content, we highlighted eBay's Authenticity Guarantee, letting the culture-makers vouch for the platform while giving festival-goers the kicks they needed to dance all weekend.
